As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact our local communities, we want to personally update you on the steps we have taken to ensure we are supporting our patients and community. We know information about COVID-19 is quickly overwhelming email inboxes, newsfeeds, and our sense of security. The purpose of our message is to remind you that in the current environment, the health and well being of our patients remains our highest priority and we are here to care for you through this.
As daily routines change to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, we’re offering new and flexible ways to care for our patients to keep you healthy with well visits and care for the sick through isolated sick visit protocols and virtual telemedicine visits.
In addition to separation of well and sick visits, we have dedicated mornings for well visits and vaccine catchups only, where no sick will be in office , after cleaning out the office , sick hours will be added later in the day, and our telemedicine access allows you to connect directly to Dr. Yazdi, Torres and Buli so that you may maintain continuity of care with the doctor and practice you know. Our office is staffed to assist you in scheduling a telemedicine visit immediately.
This is an unprecedented time for everyone, and the situation is changing daily. We are guided by the CDC, government agencies, and we are in close contact with local health officials and hospitals for guidance and recommendations. We will continue to ask screening questions before making all appointments, so that we are making appointments for patients that clearly require an evaluation and do not present a known risk to the office environment. There is ample availability for well care and dedicated wellness visits where we have separated sick/well visits and utilize separate entrances with different doctors. We understand this will require some short term changes in our relationship with you and appreciate your patience and understanding.
